Breast Lift
A Breast Lift (mastopexy) is a surgical procedure that raises the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue.
A breast lift can be combined with breast augmentation or reduction for size changes. It is designed to raise and reshape sagging breasts. Over time, factors such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, aging and weight fluctuations can cause the breasts to lose their youthful shape and firmness.
The surgeon raises the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue. This procedure can be combined with breast augmentation for size changes. It can also reposition the nipples for a more natural look. If you desire fuller breasts in addition to lifting, breast implants can be added to your procedure.
The Procedure

The procedure typically takes two to three hours and is performed under general anesthesia.
Recovery
Most patients return to work after two weeks. After surgery, you may experience swelling, bruising, and mild discomfort, which can be managed with prescribed pain medication. A surgical bra or compression garment will be recommended to support healing. Most patients can return to light activities within a week and resume more strenuous activities in four to six weeks. Your surgeon will provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure a smooth recovery.
