Implant Removal (Cosmetic)

Breast implant removal is a surgical procedure for individuals who wish to remove their implants due to personal preference, medical reasons, or complications. Whether you are looking for a natural appearance, experiencing discomfort, or need to replace old implants, our experienced surgical team is here to guide you through the process with care and expertise.

Implant Removal

The Procedure

Breast implant removal surgery is performed under general anesthesia. The surgeon typically makes an incision along the original scar to minimize additional scarring. The implants are carefully removed, and in some cases, surrounding scar tissue (capsulectomy) may also be addressed. If necessary, additional procedures like a breast lift may be performed to reshape the breast for a more natural appearance. (Patient Dependent)

Recovery

Most patients return to work after one to two weeks. Recovery from breast implant removal varies depending on the individual and the extent of the procedure. Most patients experience mild to moderate swelling and discomfort for a few days. Strenuous activities should be avoided for at least four to six weeks. Our team will provide detailed post-operative care instructions to ensure a smooth healing process.

Expected Results

After breast implant removal, the breasts may initially appear deflated or sagging, but over time, they will adjust and regain a more natural shape. If a breast lift is performed, the results will be firmer and more youthful. Patients often feel relief from physical discomfort and greater confidence in their natural body.
