BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the look of both moderate to severe crow’s feet lines and frown lines between the eyebrows.
Dysport is effective for forehead lines, vertical lines between the brows, and crows’ feet at the corner of the eyes. Instead of giving you the “frozen look,” Dysport temporarily treats the facial muscles in just the area you want—between the eyebrows.
Your Consultation
During your consultation, Dr. Hopping will talk with you about your goals, expectations and concerns. He will examine your facial structures, assess the quality of your skin tone and discuss which injectable treatment would be best for you.
Treatment
In-office treatments are quick and safe. There is a very temporary mild discomfort from the tiny needle used to inject BOTOX Cosmetic, Dysport and Xeomin. If needed, a topical anesthetic is applied to minimize any discomfort.
Expected Results
Most patients notice results between one to seven days after treatment. Allow two weeks to see maximum results. These results last anywhere from four to six months. Most patients feel treatments are needed at four-month intervals but with continued use, the muscles weaken and treatment is not needed as often.
